CROSSING THE DIVIDE
Poetry & illustrated talk with John Lindley
Former Cheshire Poet Laureate and atheist John Lindley bridges the gap between religion and the arts in this fascinating and thought-provoking presentation Crossing the Divide. Against a background of projected images, he performs poems inspired by the religious paintings of American artist, Daniel Bonnell, a devout Christian, and tells the story behind this remarkable collaboration.
“It should not be underestimated how powerful this event was, and how many people would be interested in seeing it. It would appeal to everyone Atheists or Christians because everyone is interested in the search for answers, the questioning, and that’s ultimately what ‘Crossing the Divide’ is about. Thought provoking and inspiring.” Review
